Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to tipping the JLG aerial lift: Employees were exposed to a tipping hazard while using the JLG aerial lift to lower a cart to the ground below that was attached to the top rail of the platform aerial lift. Among other feasible and acceptable methods to correct this hazard is to follow the requirements in ANSI A92.5 - 1992, paragraph 8.10.12(g) and follow the operators manual section 1 paragraph 3. ***Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c)***
