Nevada Revised Statute 618.375(1): Every employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees: The employer did not ensure places of employment were free from recognized hazards, as follows: a) On the third floor, an employee had climbed out of the scissorlift to access the work area, which was approximately 10 feet above the ground. Reference: ANSI A92.6-1990, page 21, Item 8.10.1 "Personnel shall maintain a firm footing on the platform while working thereon." One feasible means of abatement would be to follow the requirements of ANSI Standard.
