Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:05/28/09 Location:Pump Room Condition:Employees had potential exposure to calcium hypochlorite, and did not have an emergency eye wash facility. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to comply with American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Z358.1, "Emergency Eye Wash and Shower Equipment."
