5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm in that employees were exposed to crushing injuries Storage site at Cherry Street and Route 32 Spencer MA: Unsecured granite curb stones were stored on edge on an inclined driveway. Among other methods one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard would be to lay the curb stones down so they could not fall over. Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days after the abatement date in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1)
