use of high visibility vests for
employees performing work associated with the construction of a concrete
bridge. The violation most recently
occurred on 2/9/10.
c)Hansen & Murtaugh Bridges, Hwy 30; The employer does not provide and/or
enforce the use of high
visibility vests for employees performing work associated with the
construction
of two concrete bridges. The
violation was most recently observed on 2/11/10.
Note 1: Abatement certification and documentation IS required for this
item.
Note 2: Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method
to correct this hazard would be to
follow the final rule on Worker Visibility of the Federal Highway
Administration (FHWA) 23 CFR 634.3 which
