furnish employment
and a place of employment which were free free from recognize hazards that
were causing or
likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la ley de seguridad y salud en el trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados,por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
At Pedro Falu Orellano School, the employer did not have a written
protocol to handled
domestic violence in the workplace, as requiered by the act for the
implementation of a
protocol to handle domestic violence situation in the workplace or place
of employment Act
No. 217 of September 29, 2006
Hazard: Fatalities, injuries, and illnesses related to domestic Violence
in the workplce.
One method among others to abate this hazard: develop a written protocol
to handle domestic
violence in the workplace and provide trainingto all the employees, for
have knowledge and
act if this situation is presented. The women's avocate office will
provide to the employer the
necessary technical guidance for implementation of the protocol.
En la Escuela Pedro Falu Orellano, El patrono no tenia un protocolo
escrito de violencia
domestica en el lugar de trabajo, requerido bajo la Ley de implementacion
del protocolo de
situaciones de violencia domestica en el lugar de trabajo o sitio de
empleo, Ley numero 217
del29 de septiembre de 2006, y la ley numero 16 del 5 de agosto de 1975
segun enmendada.
Riesgo: Fatalidades, lesiones y enfermedades relacionada a Violencia
Domestica en el lugar
de trabajo.
Un metodo para disminuir el riesgo: Desarrollar un protocolo escrito de
violencia domestica
en el lugar de trabajo y proveer adiestramiento a todos los empleados,
para que tengan
conocimiento y actuen en caso de que se presente esta situacion. La
Oficina de la
procuradora de la mujer provee al patrono las guias necesarias para la
implementacion del
protocolo.
