1) Follow ASME B56.6-1992 Safety standards for Rough Terrain Forklift
Trucks

section 5.15 Elevating Personnel;  A rough terrain forklift truck should
not be used to lift
people unless there is no other practical option. If a rough terrain
forklift must be used to lift
people, the following precautions for the protection of personnel shall be
taken:
a) Provide a personnel platform which complies with the design
requirements listed in Part
III of this standard,
b) Be certain that the platform is securely attacked to the lifting
carriage or forks,
2) Train employees to follow the Operations and Service Instructions for
Highlander Model
