Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: a)Room 1010 and Unit 3 Floor 10: On or about July 14, 2009 An employee who performed pipe threading was exposed to contacting and being caught by the rotating parts of two Ridgid Model 300 Pipe Threading Machines which were not provided with a momentary contact foot switch. A feasible and useful method to eliminate or to materially reduce this hazard would be to use a momentary contact foot switch. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.CE
