(b)Date of Viol ation:07/18/09 Condition:Employees, operating a mountain coaster ride, were not trained in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe work practices and instructio ns such as equipment weight limitations, employee seat belt usage and speed limi tations on a wet track versus a dry track. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to develop and implement a safety and health program for the Wiegand Alpine Coaster that ensures all coaster employees are trained in all safe work practices and equipment limit ations according to the Wiegand Alpine Coaster Operations and Maintenance Instru ction Manual. Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs , training certification, etc.) is required for this item.
