JBS USA, LLC, 5950 Trails End Road, Cactus, Texas. For the period of time
up to and
including April 13, 2010, the employer did not ensure that a safey device
was operating on a
SK 11-320 Townsend skinning machine. Employees performed work operations
such as
preventative maintenance (PM) when the machine caught his sleeve and
pulled his hand through
the machine roller. This condition exposed employee(s) to caught by
hazards.
Feasible and Acceptable Abatement Methods would include:
Ensure that all safety devices are operable prior to performing
preventative maintenance on
the skinning machine.

that this violation
has been abted within 10 calendar days after the abatement date.ment
