Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees
were exposed to combustible dust explosion hazards due to the dust
collector system as to;
(a)On or about March 24 to June 9, 2010 at the Frame plant located at 483
Hwy 6
West in Batesville, MS, employees were exposed to combustible dust fire
and explosion
hazards due to the employer's failure to protect the dust collection
system with an
adequate venting or suppression system.
Among others, one feasible and useful abatement method to correct these
hazards is to follow
the requirements found in NFPA 69, 77, 499, and 664.
