Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:On or About 08/07/09 Location:Dance Area Condition:A supported elevated scaffold system was not assembled under the supervision of an individual knowledgeable in the assembly of such a system. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard would be to both train employees in the proper assembly of scaffold systems and how to safely work from these scaffold systems.
