29 CFR 1910.37(b)(1): Each exit route was not adequately lighted so that an employee with normal vision can see along the exit route. a)facility, warehouse area- employer failed to ensure that the lighting in the facility was adequate for means of egress. The lighting in the back of the warehouse was 0.3 foot candle (fc). NFPA 101: Life Safety Code stated that floors and walking surfaces must be illuminated not less than 1 fc. One feasible and acceptable method of abatement, among others, to correct this hazard is for the employer to replace lighting system in the back of the warehouse.
