Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:10/29/09 Condition:An employee operated a forklift and did not utilize the seat belt provided. Among others, one feasible means and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to retrain the employee in the use of the seat belt provided on the forklift.
