Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a. At the workplace of Importadora del Sur, Yauco PR. The employer did not have a protocol to handle situations of domestic violence (physical, verbal, and emotional aggression and even murder) at the workplace. Among other methods, one feasible acceptable method to correct this hazard is to establish and implement a write to manage situations of domestic violence at the workplace as required by Act No 217 of September 29, 2006. The protocol must include the following minimum requirements: A public policy statement, legal basis and applicability, responsibility the personnel, and uniform procedures and measures to be followed in order to how the cases. It has to be evaluated and certified by the Women's Advocate Office. a. En el lugar de trabajo en Importadora del Sur en Yauco PR.El patrono no tenia un protocolo para manejar situaciones de violencia domestica en el lugar de traba otros mitodos, un mitodo factible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es esta implementar un protocolo escrito para manejar situaciones de violencia domestica lugar de trabajo como es requerido por la ley Numero 217 del 29 de Septiembre de 2006 El protocolo debera incluir los siguientes requisitos mmnimos: declaracisn publica, base legal y aplicabilidad, responsabilidad del personal y procedimientos medidas uniformes a seguir en manejo de casos. Este tendra que ser evaluado y certificado por la Oficina de la Procuradora de la Mujer.
