Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: Receive injuries doe to non-function bathroom toilet.Five or six employees, works more than two or three hours daily or weekly on this facilities. The work place was at a considerable distance from the nearest public bathroom service (Burger king at 2 or more Kms.). The road to access this workplace was with many holes, rocks, without asphalt... Although the employees have at one's disposal a motor vehicle, the great distance and the moving by an accidental roads, to the the nearest toilet service, create a possible injuries situation,like stomach diseace. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is fixing the toilet or put a portable toilet in the workplace area. Recibir lesiones serias debido a servicio de toilet que no funciona. Cinco o seis empleados trabajan mas de dos a tres horas al dia o aveces, toda la semana en estas facilidades. El lugar de trabajo esta a una distancia considerable del servicio sanitario mas proximo (Burker King a mas de dos kilometros). La Carretera para accesar dicho lugar de trabajo esta llena de hoyos, piedras, sin asfaltar.... Aunque los empleados dispusieran al menos de un vehiculo de motor, la gran distancia y el tiempo en recorrer el trayecto accidentado, crean una situacion posible de lesiones, tales como: complicaciones estomacales. Entre otros metodos, un metodo aceptable y posible para corregir este riesgo es reparar el toilet o instalar uno portatil en el area de trabajo.
