Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a. At the establishment, work area. It was observed a welding/cutting equipment, oxy- acetylene compressed tanks, located in the aisle #2. Both of the gas compressed oxygen and acetylene tanks had the presure gauges broke and did not function. Hazard: fire a. En el establecimiento, area de trabajo. Fue observado un equipo de corte/soldadura oxy-acetileno localizado en el pasillo #2. Ambos cilindros de gas comprimido oxigeno/ acetileno tenia el reloj de presion roto y no funcionaba. Employer Energy & Power Engineering Services, Inc. did not provide training to employees in the workplace as required by the Act for the implementation of a Protocol to Handle Domestic Violence Situations in the Workplace and provided training to all employees. Information is available at the Women's Advocate Office. A guide for Employers: Domestic Violence in the Workplace and others references provided during the inspection. a. El patrono Energy & Power Engineering Services, Inc. no proveyo adiestramiento a empleados para manejar violencia domestica en el lugar de trabajo, como es requerido por la Ley para la Implementacion de un protocolo para manejar situaciones de Violencia Domestica el lugar de Trabajo, Ley No. 217 de 2006 (para patronos privados y publicos y excepto municipios). Riesgo: Fatalidades, lesiones, y enfermedades relacionadas con violencia domestica en el lugar de trabajo. Metodo para corregir el riesgo: Proveer adiestramiento para manejar violencia domestica en el lugar de trabajo y proveer adiestramiento a todos los empleados.
