Health Act of North Carolina:  The
employer did not furnish to each of his employees  conditions of
employment and a place of employment free
from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or
serious physical harm to employees, in
that employees were exposed to struck by hazards:
a)job site, 9722 NC Hwy 751 - on 9/16/09 employees were directing traffic
while standing in the
roadway facing oncoming traffic.
Among other methods, two applicable and feasible methods to correct this
hazard  are to train employees on the
training requirements of flaggers outlined in the Manual of Uniform
Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) or to
position employees to the side of the road while directing traffic.
