recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious

supporting a load,

ABATEMENT NOTE:
a-1)One acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is when
unloading the load from the
Gradall 534D rough terrain forklift truck, place barricades to prevent
employees from walking
underneath the load and once unloaded fully lower the load-engaging means.
b-1)One acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to lower the
load-engaging means
fully before the operator leaves the vehicle.

paragraph 6.2.7; "Do not allow
anyone to stand or pass under the elevated portion of any rough terrain
forklift truck, whether
empty or loaded."
