free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or
serious physical harm
to employees in that employees were exposed to fall hazards:
a)jobsite, on 09/23/2009, an employee was observed standing on the midrail
of a
JLG 1930ES scissors lift to install a HVAC transition to a riser
approximately 13
feet above the concrete floor.
A feasible method for correcting this hazard is to follow the JLG
Operations and
Safety Manual which states "Keep both feet firmly positioned on the
platform at
all times."m
