Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck by and crushing hazards: a.On or about January 11, 2011, in the Quick Tie Products assembly area, the 5 storage racks were not bolted to the concrete floor, exposing the employees to a struck by and crushing hazard. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to bolt the storage racks to the concrete floor. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION ARE REQUIRED.TION
