Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational safety and Health Act of 1970: the employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: Entire Facility - On or about December 14, 2010, employees worked at heights from a makeshift basket which was supported by the forks of a powered industrial truck in order to change light bulbs and to assemble displays. The employer failed to implement adequate procedures, thereby employees were exposed to crushing hazards and falls of 20 feet to the ground. Among other methods, feasible and acceptable abatement methods include following the requirements for lifting personnel explained in section 7.37 Platforms: Elevating of the ANSI/ASME B56.1-2000 Safety Standard for Low and High Lift Trucks.d
