A.R.S.23-403.A.:  The employer did not furnish to each of his employees
employment and a
place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were
causing or likely to
cause death or serious physical harm to their employees, in that the
employees were at risk
of being infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis (TB) because
recommendation from the
Center for Disease Control (CDC) specified in the document entitled
"Prevention and Control
of Tuberculosis in Correctional and Detention Facilities: Recommendations
from CDC" had
not been followed, including the implementation of a TB prevention and
control program and
the annual training of employees.
(a) 971 Jason Lopez Circle, Building B, Florence:  The procedures listed
in Pinal
County's September 1995 Tuberculosis Control Plan were not being followed,
in that
all employees had not received annual training and all employees had not
received
annual PPD skin tests.
