P.L. 91-596 Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards: a)At the scrap yard, on or about December 14, 2010, employees were loading and unloading scrap metal, which exposed them to vehicular struck-by hazards. FEASIBLE ABATEMENT METHOD: Employer implement and follow the information in the ANSI / ISEA 107; 2004 edition class 2 and 3, Safety Standard for Reflective Vests is to provide and require the use of high visibility clothing or vests in areas exposed to vehicular traffic. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED
