P.L. 91-596 Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard(s) of: A) Shipping side boxing platform area, on or about February 22, 2011, employees working with and around a trolley conveyor were not properly trained on how to address improperly hung steel carrier bars, exposing employees to a caught-in-between hazard. One feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to train employees to shut down the conveyor when a carrier is placed on the conveyor improperly. Also, post signs of the caught-in-between hazard. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED.TION
