the protruding concrete forming pins:
(a) On the corner of Front St. and Market St., Philadelphia -
Employees were exposed to impalement hazards from protruding
forming pins approximately 1 to 1.5 feet above the formwork.
Observed on or about 08/03/10.
Among other methods,one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct
this hazard is: Install caps over forming pins or install forming pins to
level of
form or grade.
