Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:

El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
At the Special Education file room - Employees were exposed to fungi
beyond the levels
established by NIOSH, they had to visit the room once or twice a week; the
results were 1,114
cfu/m3.
Hazard: Overexposure to fungus.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazard is to clean the
floor, walls and desk with an antifungus solution in order to avoid the
growth of fungus and
bacteria.
En el salon de expedientes de Educacion Especial - Empleados estaban
expuestos a hongo sobre
los niveles establecidos por NIOSH, ellos tenian que visitar el salon una
o dos veces por semana;
los resultados fueron de 1,114 cfu/m3.
Riesgo: Sobreexposicion a hongos.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo factible y aceptable para corregir este
riesgo es limpiar el piso,
paredes y escritorio con una solucion antihongo para evitar el crecimiento
de hongos y bacterias.o

in the Workplace or Place of Employment, Act No.217 of 2006.
Hazard: Fatalities, injuries, and illnesses related to domestic violence
in the workplace.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazard
is to provide
training to all the establishment's employees related to its written
protocol for the handling of
domestic violence in the workplace.

adiestramiento a todos los empleados del establecimiento relacionado a su
protocolo escrito para
el manejo de  violencia domestica en el lugar de trabajo.
