Section 5(a)1 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: On or about 05/09/2010, at 16363 NW 49th Avenue, in Hialeah, Florida, in the warehouse area, an employee, a Production Supervisor, standing and working on an elevated fork-mounted pallet and performing inventory control was exposed to falls and caught-in-between hazards. Among other methods, feasible and acceptable means of abatement includes the use of an approved platform. PLEASE NOTE: CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
