Section 5(a)1 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a fall hazard: On or about 06-21-10, a tree trimmer was exposed to a fall hazard greater than 14 feet as he was cutting branches while standing on a tree branch without any type of fall protection. Among other means, one feasible method is to use an extension ladder that reaches the area that needs to be cut.s
