hazards when used a drill press (Maskiner, No. 112930) that lacked a
provision to prevent restart following power restoration, on or about
11/08/2010.
c.At the mold lathe department, an employee was exposed to caught by
hazards when used a precision honing machine (Sunnen, Model 4H01)
which has its pedal not unprotected against unexpected or accidental
tripping, on or about 2/9/2011.
Among the feasible abatement methods to correct Instances a and b is to
provide
and install a magnetic switch to prevent automatic restart following power
restoration.
Among the feasible abatement methods to correct Instance c is to enclose
the
pedal as appropriate to prevent unexpected or accidental tripping.
