Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At Department of Education Gilberto Concepcion de Gracia high school located in Carolina, employees were observed walking on a uneven floor due to holes in the floor that resulted from removed tiles that became loose over the time. It were observed at the library twelve tiles that had become loose from the floor and holes in the responsible parenthood classroom and the second level hallway. One feasible method to abate the hazard: repair all the broken tiles and holes or put something in the area to level the floor. Hazard: Employees exposed to fall and trips. En el Departamento de Educacion escuela superior Gilberto Concepcion de Gracia en Carolina, se observaron empleados caminando en un piso desnivelado debido a que hay huecos en el piso como resultado de lozas removidas que han quedado sueltas por el tiempo. Se observaron en la biblioteca doce lozas que se salieron del piso y huecos en el piso del salon de paternidad responsable y en el pasillo del segundo piso. Un metodo para disminuir el riego: reparar todas las lozas rotas y huecos, o colocar algo en las areas para nivelar el piso. Riesgo: Empleados expuestos a caidas y tropiezos.
