North Carolina General Statute 95-129(01) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in the that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards due to operators were not trained to operate equipment: a)facility, production/warehouse building - no training was provided for employees who were operating the Bobcat, S185, skid steer loader. b)facility, production/warehouse building - no training was provided for employees who were operating the Caterpillar, 924G, wheel loader. ABATEMENT NOTE: 1)Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct these hazards is to provide employees training to operate the Caterpillar 924G wheel loader, and the Bobcat employer did not furnish each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in the that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards due to operators were not trained to operate equipment: a)facility, production/warehouse building - no training was provided for employees who were operating the Bobcat, S185, skid steer loader. b)facility, production/warehouse building - no training was provided for employees who were operating the Caterpillar, 924G, wheel loader.
