ABATEMENT NOTE: Among other feasible and acceptable methods to correct
this hazard is
to equip the hoist hook with a safety latch as described in ANSI
B30.16-2007, Section 16-1.2.9:
a latch shall be provided to bridge the throat opening of the hook and
retain, under stack
conditions, such items as, but not limited to, slings and chains.
