Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to 3rd degree burns: a)Kitchen: The gas grill was lit with a piece of burning paper exposing employees to a 3rd degree burn, on or about 05/04/11. ABATEMENT NOTE: Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to have the gas grill's automatic pilot repaired or the unit can be replaced.

ABATEMENT NOTE: Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to have the cucumber slicer's legs repaired or the unit can be replaced.
