Condition:Where employees were exposed to Cetylcide II, a corrosive
liquid, the emergency eye
wash could not be operated hands free.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is to install and
maintain an eye wash that meets ANSI Z358.1-2004 standard requirements.
Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs,
training certification, etc.)
is required for this item.
