North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to a struck by hazards by vehicular traffic: a)job site - where employees did not place temporary traffic control zone signs to give vehicular traffic advance warning of shoulder work, i.e. landscaping duties were being performed in and near Caitboo Dr and Crossroads Blvd. Abatement note: One feasible and acceptable abate method, among others, to correct this hazard is to purchase and use signs that give vehicular traffic advance notice of work being performed in and near roadways.
