Automated People Mover (APM) of the companies energy control procedures to
prevent the
hazard of being electrocuted, struck-by and caught-in by the rail, train
and other components of
the Automated People Mover (APM) system which are causing or likely to
cause death or
serious physical harm to employees:
This violation was observed on or about October 26, 2010, where Johnson
Controls was
not informed of Webber's energy control procedures when performing service,
maintenance and other work tasks on the APM guide-way.
Among other feasible methods to correct the identified hazard, one method
would be for
the on-site employer (host) and the outside employer (contractor) to
inform each other
of their respective lockout/tagout programs per ANSI / ASSE A10.44-2006
