29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms, and service rooms were not kept clean and orderly and in a sanitary condition: a)On or about January 27, 2011, and at times prior, Stratton Equity Cooperative Company did not ensure employees were protected from fire hazards by requiring that areas around boxes between Bins 3 & 4 at the Stratton, Colorado grain elevator were kept free of debris. b)On or about January 27, 2011, and at times prior, Stratton Equity Cooperative Company did not ensure employees were protected from fire/explosion hazards by sufficiently removing fugitive grain dust that accumulated beyond 1/8th inch (.32 cm) inside the rail car loading scale at the Stratton, Colorado grain elevator. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Sample Abatement-Certification Letter").
