Violation disclosed on or about 01/04/2011.

methods of abatement:
1. ensure the working and safety ropes extend to the ground or safe
location in accordance with
ASTM International Designation E 2505 for Standard Practice for Industrial
Rope Access,
Section 8.7.3 Use of Descent Systems;
2. tie a knot or secure fitting at the end of the short rope to prevent
the employee from running
off the end of the rope in accordance with the ASTM International
Designation E 2505 for
Standard Practice for Industrial Rope Access, Section 8.7.4 Use of Descent
Systems.
