Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:02/17/11 Location:North East Side of the Building Condition:Employees were exposed to the hazard being crushed/struck by collapsing roof trusses due to inadequate bracing techniques. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to install bracing in accordance with the Wood Truss Council of America recommendations per BCSI-B1 Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs, training certification, etc.) is required for this item.

Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard it to install caps in accordance with the letter of Standard Imterpretations 04/24/06. Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs, training certification, etc.) is required for this item.
