KITCHEN AREA:
An employee received serious burns while removing and transferring hot oil
with an open
steel pot from a frialator unit to a disposal container.
Among other methods, feasible and acceptable abatement methods to correct
this hazard are:
1. Obtain and follow the unit manufacturer's installation & operation
manual.
2. Provide employees who perform this task with manufacturer's reccomended
training by a
qualified person.
