Condition:The operator of a Gradall forklift did not utilize the installed
seatbelt.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazard, install and utilize a restraint
system in accordance with the current version of American National
Standards Institute (ANSI) B56.1, "Safety
Standard for Powered Industrial Trucks", and American Society of
Mechanical Engineers (ASME) 56.1-2000,
"Safety Standard for Low Lift and High Lift Trucks".
Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs,
training certification, etc.)
is required for this item.
