Labor and Employment Artticle, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:12/29/10 Location:785 Hungerford Drive Condition:The employer did not develop and implement procedures for employees exposed to crushed-by/struck-by hazards when vehicles are exiting the automatic carwash. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable means of abatement is for the employer to develop and implement policies and procedures, including, but not limited to vehicle speed, employee positioning, and marking of potential danger zones. Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs, training certification, etc.) is required for this item.
