Repeated The employer RTA Construction Corp was previously cited for a violation of this Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act standard -- Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: for not having a protocol to handle workplace domestic violence -- which was contained in OSHO inspection number 314006792, citation number 2, item number 1, issued on 10/13/2010. Repetida El patrono RTA Costruction Corp fue previamente citado por una violacion a la norma de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico -- Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional de Puerto Rico: por no tener un protocolo para manejar violencia domestica en el lugar de trabajo -- la cual estaba contenida en la inspeccion de OSHO numero 314006792, citacion numero 2, renglon numero 1, emitida en 10/13/2010. Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: Employer RTA Construction Corp did not have a protocol to handle domestic violence in the workplace, as required by the Act for the Implementation of a Protocol to Handle Domestic Violence Situations in the Workplace or Place of Employment, Act No. 217 of 2006. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to develop a written protocol to handle domestic violence in the workplace and provide training to all the employees. Patrono RTA Construction Corp no tenia un protocolo para manejar violencia domestica en el lugar de trabajo, segun requerido por la Ley para la Implantacion de un Protocolo para Manejar Situaciones de Violencia Domestica en el Lugar o Sitio de Trabajo, Ley Num. 217 de 2006. Entre otros metodos, un metodo factible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es proveer adiestramiento a todos los empleados del establecimiento relacionado a su protocolo escrito para el manejo de violencia domestica en el lugar de trabajo.
