furnish employment and
a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were
causing or likely to
cause death or serious physical harm to employees:
(a)Date of Violation:On or About 04/24/11
Location:West Side of Parking Lot
Condition:An employee changing an advertisement on a billboard located as
great as
approximately 37 feet above ground was not protected from falling.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is
to ensure employees utilize the provided fall arrest systems while working
from elevated
walking/working surfaces.
Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs,
training
certification, etc.) is required for this item.
