Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a struck by hazard: a.On or about February 10, 2012, the powered industrial truck operator used a nylon web sling with the eyes of the sling placed around the forks of a JCB 506C Rough Terrain powered industrial truck, exposing employees to a struck by hazard due to the possibility of the sling eyes with load attached sliding off of the forks. Feasible and acceptable method to correct the hazard, but not limited to the following: Obtain and use approved manufacturers lifting hook attachments. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION ARE NOT REQUIRED.TION
