Condition:An employee operating a rough terrain forklift did
not use its equipped seatbelt.
Among  other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct
this hazard, utilize the installed  restraint system in accordance
with the current verison of American National Standards
Institute(ANSI) B56.1-2009 " Safety Standard for Low Lift and High
Lift Trucks,"and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
B56.1-2000, "Safety Standard for Low Lift and High Lift Trucks."
Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs,
training certification, etc.) is required for this item.
