Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the condition(s) listed below: On or about 10/07/2011 and at times prior thereto, at the jobsite located at M & M #5 Unit #1 Stanton, TX. employees working at the drill site were exposed to the hazard of the uncontrolled release of hazardous energy. Among other methods, recognized and feasible means to correct this hazard include, but are not limited to: The employer can follow the recommendations of the American Petroluem Institute Recommended Practice 54 chapter 6.1.1.r
