Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized
hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:

El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
At the Elementary Special Education Classroom - Employees were exposed to
fungi beyond the
levels established by NIOSH, they had to work in that area daily; the
results were 1,621 cfu/m3
of the following species:
Cladosporium cladosporoides - 1,543 CFU
Sterile Mycelia - 57 CFU
Aspergillus niger group 14 CFU
Trichoderma 7 CFU
Hazard: Overexposure to fungus.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazard is to clean the
floor, walls, ceiling and desk with an antifungus solution in order to
avoid the growth of fungus
and bacteria.
En el Salon de Educacion Especial Elemental - Empleados estaban expuestos
a hongo sobre los
niveles establecidos por NIOSH, ellos tenian que trabajar en ese area
diariamente; los resultados
fueron de 1,621 cfu/m3 de las siguientes especies:
Cladosporium cladosporoides - 1,543 CFU
Sterile Mycelia - 57 CFU
Aspergillus niger group 14 CFU
Trichoderma 7 CFU
Riesgo: Sobreexposicion a hongos.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo factible y aceptable para corregir este
riesgo
es limpiar el piso,
paredes, techo y escritorio con una solucion antihongo para evitar el
crecimiento de hongos y
bacterias.o

Employer Department of Education - did not have a protocol to handle
domestic violence in the
workplace, as required by the Act for the Implementation of a Protocol to
Handle Domestic
Violence Situations in the Workplace or Place of Employment, Act No. 217
of 2006.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazard is to develop
a written protocol to handle domestic violence in the workplace and
provide training to all the

the inspection.

violencia domestica
en el lugar de trabajo, segun requerido por la Ley para la Implantacion de
un Protocolo para
Manejar Situaciones de Violencia Domestica en el Lugar o Sitio de Trabajo,
Ley NGm. 217 de
2006.
Entre Otros metodos, un metodo factible y aceptable para corregir este
riesgo es desarrollar un
protocolo escrito para manejar violencia domestica en el lugar de trabajo
y
proveer
adiestramiento a todos los empleados.  Informacion esta  disponible en la
