Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a) 6 Fairfield Ave. West Caldwell, NJ/jobsite The employer did not ensure a boiler was secured on a pallet jack before transporting. Violations disclosed on or about 06/09/2011. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method of abatement is to check the load to ensure the load is well secured and safe to transport.
